Allergy-Friendly Soccer Clinic for Kids

After the incredible success of our 2025 Soccer Clinic in South Florida, we’re bringing it back—this time to Rhode Island.

As we prepare for International Red Sneakers Day on May 20 and build excitement around the upcoming World Cup, we’re celebrating something Oakley loved deeply: soccer.

Red Sneakers for Oakley is proud to partner with Team First Soccer Academy and St. George’s School to bring this unforgettable soccer clinic and meet-and-greet to Middletown, RI.

Led by world-renowned soccer legends Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, and Tisha Venturini Hoch, the clinic delivers elite-level training while fostering a welcoming, food allergy–friendly environment complete with food allergy education and awareness activities.

About the clinic:

  • Open to all kids ages 5-16 of all skill levels, including beginners! The camp fee is $150 per child.

  • 3 hours of soccer training with professional athletes

  • Meet & greet with the legends + autograph signing

  • Each participant will receive a Nike soccer ball, a Nike t-shirt, an autographed player card and a photo with the hall of famers

  • Event is open to the public—come watch and support—and don’t forget your red sneakers!

Highlights from our 2025 soccer clinic in West Palm Beach

What makes this clinic food-allergy friendly?

  • This clinic is designed with food allergy safety at the forefront. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in food allergy education and awareness activities, hands-on epinephrine demonstrations and training, and guided practice using trainer epinephrine devices. Families will also have access to educational resources, support materials, and—of course—plenty of Red Sneakers for Oakley freebies.

  • NO outside food is allowed past the gates. We will have water and gatorade available for kids.

  • Clearly labeled snacks will be available for kids to take home after the event, and ingredient lists can be shared with allergy families upon request before the event.

  • The clinic is geared toward kids between 5 and 16 years old.

  • This clinic is open to all skill levels, including beginners! Kids will be grouped according to their skill level stated on their sign up form.

    • Strict No-Food Policy – No outside food is allowed. Attendees will be reminded of this policy at check-in.

    • Top 9 Allergen-Free Snacks Provided – Clearly labeled snacks will be available to take home after the clinic, and ingredient lists can be shared with allergy families upon request.

    • Ingredient Transparency – Take home snacks will be Top 9 Allergy-friendly allergy-friendly and ingredient lists will be provided.

    • Soccer Ball

    • Shin guards

    • Water Bottle

    • Outdoor and indoor soccer cleats/sneakers (in case of rain, we will move indoors)

    • 1 item to have signed by Mia, Kristine and Tisha

  • The clinic will be held on the athletic fields of St. George’s School located at 372 Purgatory Rd, Middletown, RI 02842.

    9 AM - 12 PM

    Registration/check-in begins at 8:30AM

  • Yes, the participation fee is $150 per child. Each participant will receive a Nike soccer ball, a Nike t-shirt, an autographed player card and a photo with the legends.

  • There are several hotels and inns in and around Middletown, along with a variety of vacation rentals available nearby. We recommend booking early to secure the option that best fits your needs and travel plans.
