International Red Sneakers Day 2024
International Red Sneakers Day (IRSD) is an opportunity to come together as a community, on May 20th, to spread food allergy awareness!

Why May 20th?
We celebrate International Red Sneakers Day on May 20th because May is National Asthma & Allergy Awareness Month and 20 was Oakley’s jersey number.
IRSD has become Red Sneakers for Oakley’s (RSFO) largest community outreach day to spread food allergy education and awareness. Anyone can participate from anywhere in the world by hosting an event or posting online! In 2024, RSFO reached more than 13 million individuals in 93 countries! We hosted our 2nd Annual IRSD Community Event in West Palm Beach, Florida. This event is a way to connect with our local community, provide resources for the food allergy community and educate the general public. Special guest, Dr. Rubin, attended our event where he was able to answer any allergy related questions from attendees. We also had a special appearance from the Miami Heat mascot, Burnie!!
