Do You Have Allergy Resentment?

We totally understand food allergy parents feeling resentment because their kids can't have a good time eating out or taking vacations without worrying about an allergic reaction or when parents are unable to simply pop products in their grocery cart without even a single glance at the labels.

"Allergy resentment" is a common problem along with worries and stress for most food allergy parents and adults. But there is a way out for food allergy parents to keep their kids safe without them missing out on life at home, school, social events, and even while traveling.

Try a few of the following tips:

Tip #1: Dump the bitterness.

Tip #2: Focus on facts NOT fears.

Tip #3: Shed the epinephrine 'fear' and #alwayscarrytwo

Tip #4: Let go. It's ok to sometimes feel sad.

Tip #5: Don blinders. Focus on your loving family.

Tip #6: Find a food allergy mentor.

Tip #7: Love yourself. You're amazing!

No, it's not easy, we know, but you're a star parent. You can do it!
