Red Sneaker Day Spotlight: Gulf Stream School

Red Sneaker Days provides a “day” when everyone wears their red sneakers/shoes (or anything red) and participates together to raise awareness for the dangers of food allergies. The goal is not only to increase education and awareness to the communities of those suffering with food allergies, but just as importantly, to educate those who are not directly affected by them.

Red Sneaker Ambassadors hosted a Red Sneaker Day at her school in Florida during Food Allergy Awareness Week. The girls worked hard to plan a Red Dress Down Day where everyone at school was able to wear their red sneakers and anything red in support of Red Sneakers for Oakley and food allergy awareness. The girls also made a presentation and shared some food allergy facts and statistics to help their classmates better understand the dangers of food allergies.
