Tips from The Food Allergy Chef to Prevent Cross-Contact

  • Use parchment paper on the cooking trays for easy cleanup.

  • Keep small measuring spoons inside seasoning jars. Only that singular seasoning will touch the measuring spoon.

  • Color-code mixing bowls and utensils. Only use food items that are safe for the food allergic person with the designated mixing bowls and utensils.
