Spread food allergy awareness everywhere you go in your very own pair of Red Sneakers for Oakley!

Why red sneakers?

In November 2016, 11-year-old Oakley Debbs passed away due to a fatal anaphylactic reaction resulting from a nut allergy. Shortly after Oakley’s death, his family knew they needed to raise awareness about the dangers of food allergies and founded the non-profit organization, Red Sneakers for Oakley.

Oakley wore red sneakers in the multiple sports he played so it was only natural that they looked to Oakley’s favorite shoes as a powerful symbol of food allergy awareness. It has since become an international movement.

We hope you will wear red sneakers in support of food allergy awareness and help honor Oakley’s memory.
